The Top 30 Innovations of the Last 30 Years

Nightly Business Report is celebrating its 30th anniversary by partnering with Knowledge @ Wharton to identify "The Top 30 Innovations of the Last 30 Years."

NBR asked our viewers and readers of the online business journal Knowledge@Wharton, for the innovations that changed their lives over the past three decades and they responded with thousands of suggestions. They worked with judges from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, to go through the entries and compile the top 30. There are of course some obvious winners like cell phones and laptop computers as well as some surprises like GPS systems and robotic surgery. NBR's Presidents' Day special edition looks at these innovations and their impact on our lives.

"The Top 30 Innovations of the Last 30 Years" airs Presidents' Day, Monday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m. on WGVU TV.
